Organizing a Rally
As a small business owner, my core business was sent into a downward spiral overnight due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. I had two options, either ride the spiral downwards or make a quick pivot and launch a new business unit that would drive income and solve an issue in the marketplace we are all facing.
Thus I made the decision that it was time to diversify, so I started a new business unit. I quickly partnered with friends in the industry to launch a cloth face mask business.
I built the new business on being able to offer consumers affordable, reusable fabric face masks. I also built out a B2B offering that provides businesses, schools and organizations custom or bulk order cloth face masks. I’ll be the first to admit, it’s been a quick turn, but what has allowed me to be successful to date will transfer and drive this new business venture.
